Why We Built This Site
This guide was built around a local search limitation: the Cocke County Online Court Records system provides Circuit and General Sessions case records, but it is not an active-warrant roster. Court clerks can explain docket events and whether court process remains current. The Sheriff's Office is the published county contact for service and custody questions, but its website does not offer a public warrant name search. Newport and Parrottsville also have local ordinance-court routes. Separating these record holders helps prevent a case-search result, a city citation, or an absent online listing from being mistaken for a final warrant answer.

- Missed court dates: how bench warrants connect to a specific Cocke County court
- Charge-based process: how arrest warrant records move between the issuing court and Sheriff
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Tennessee court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what it can do:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
